- What is a smart look-up?
- A smart look-up is the moment after you snap something, when Packbook names it. It finds the real product, its weight, a price and where to buy it. That one step calls services we pay for per use, so it is the only thing we meter. Naming an item yourself is always free and unlimited.
- What happens when I use up my 25 free smart look-ups for the month?
- Your stickers still land, but they arrive unnamed. You can name them by hand, wait for the 1st of the month when your 25 come back, or go Pro. Nothing you already have changes.
- Is Pro really unlimited?
- Yes. A Pro account is never refused a smart look-up. The only ceiling is a per-day safety limit that protects the service from abuse by bad actors, and a person naming their own gear will not reach it.
- How do I buy Pro, and which account does it belong to?
- You buy it in the app. Open your profile and tap Upgrade to Packbook Pro, and Apple handles the payment. Pro belongs to the Packbook account you are signed in to when you buy it, and it follows that account to any iPhone you sign in on.
- Can I switch between monthly, yearly and lifetime?
- Yes, on the same screen, with your current plan marked. Moving up to yearly starts right away and Apple refunds the unused part of your month. Moving down to monthly starts when your year ends. Buying lifetime does not cancel a subscription, so the app shows you where to do that.
- What if I installed Packbook before Pro existed?
- Then you are Pro, always. You keep unlimited smart look-ups for free, permanently, and you will never be blocked or asked to pay.
- How do refunds, cancellations and offer codes work?
- Apple handles refunds and cancellations under Apple’s rules, and the app links you to the right screen. An offer code redeems inside the app under Have a code? and goes to the Packbook account signed in at the time. The fine print is in our terms.
